Heddy, musicien explorateur, a traversé de nombreux styles, du rock au free jazz en passant par les musiques du monde et l’électro-acoustique. Né en 1963 à Marseille un beau dimanche de mars à l'heure de la sieste, bercé par la Méditerranée et le Mistral, explore la musique depuis son adolescence. Il débute à la guitare électrique dans le rock avant de s'ouvrir à d'autres horizons : saxophone alto dès 1988, puis saxophone basse en 2007, en parallèle d'une exploration autodidacte des percussions, claviers, oud et bien d’autres instruments. Son parcours l’amène à traverser des styles variés, du punk au rock progressif, des musiques africaines et caribéennes aux sonorités orientales, d’Europe de l’Est et au jazz.
Depuis 2002, il se consacre principalement à l’improvisation libre, avec quelques incursions dans le free jazz et la musique électro-acoustique. Contraint d’abandonner le saxophone en 2011, il se tourne vers le synthétiseur modulaire analogique (jusqu’en 2016), la basse électrique, et retrouve progressivement la guitare, qui redevient son instrument principal. Depuis 2019, avec le groupe Èch, il renoue avec une approche plus groovy et rock de la musique.
Musicien prolifique, il multiplie les collaborations avec des artistes français et internationaux (M. Doneda, Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M, J.-L. Guionnet, E. Prévost, B. Ulher, P. Battus, Lê Quan Ninh, D. Lazro, M. Kerbaj, C. Thomas, S. Beresford, E. Chadbourne, C. Abdenour, C. Wodrascka, J.-L. Cappozzo...), se produisant sur des scènes nationales et internationales. Il a enregistré de nombreux albums, fondé le label Un Rêve Nu et participé à l’organisation de concerts en région toulousaine jusqu’en 2022.
Parallèlement, il a été un acteur clé de plusieurs collectifs et événements : membre fondateur et président de SonoFages, initiateur du festival Zieu-M-Zic (2003-2004), actif au sein de l’association IREA (2006-2009), co-fondateur du FIL (grand orchestre d’improvisation toulousain) en 2012 avec Christine Wodrascka, organisateur du festival La Poutre dès 2015 et de la première édition toulousaine du Sonic Protest en 2016. Il a également coorganisé le festival Sonorités/Noïse en 2017 et 2018.
S’il n’organise plus d’événements depuis 2022, il reste en quête de nouvelles aventures musicales, intégrant de nouveaux projets comme Tacle, JOBO et bien d'autres encore.

Born in 1963 in Marseille a beautiful Sunday in March at the time of the nap, rocked by the Mediterranean Sea and the Mistral wind, explores music since his adolescence. Since 2019, with the Èch band, he returned to a more groovy and rock -of -music approach.
A prolific musician, he multiplies collaborations with French and international artists (M. Doneda, Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M, J.-L. Guionnet, E. Prévost, B. Ulher, P. Battus, Lê Quan Ninh, D.
